“ Stayed in this town (Borgarnes) for two nights and ate here on both nights. My companion and I ordered a salad, a rib-eye steak and rack of ribs to share on our first visit. What truly impressed me was their cleverness to split the salad into two dishes for you. At first I was cautious thinking I had ordered 2 by mistake. The server politely said they split the salad for us intentionally. Beautiful! Rib eye was cooked to perfection and ribs were tasty. The second night we went, we had the seafood pasta and the tenderloin. Both were excellent, but between the rib-eye and the tenderloin, I liked the rib-eye more because it had more fat; personal preference but both were delicious! Proportion of dishes is what I would consider as generous. The only regret for us was not being able to try the lamb steak; they were out on both of our visits. The ambiance is quite like a diner in America. They’ve got 80s+ music videos playing on the tv. They also had a bar on the side where they broadcasted football matches. Overall, loved the place and I would recommend any tourists to visit! ”

“ Very standard US-type meals in a Hard Rock wannabe setting. Quite varied menu, from pizzas to usual fried stuff that always works. Lots of painted portraits of rock legends, and normal tables or booths, with 5-6 large screens playing rock videos. Food in our case came surprisingly fast. ”

“ Ate here twice; the first visit was noticeably better foodwise, so your experience may vary. The rest of this review is based on the better visit. The restaurant has a strong rock-n-roll theme that even includes continuous music videos. I like it! Our party had the "West Side Story" bacon burger and the Fish And Chips; both were judged Great (though I prefer bacon cooked more). There wasn't much service beyond bringing our food to the table; no check was ever given - I finally went to the counter and asked to pay. Maybe that's how it's always done here? ”
